1. Cannonball Adderley QuintetIn San Francisco: Recorded, October 18 & 20, 1959.  In San Francisco was released in 1959 on Riverside and noted as a groundbreaking soul jazz classic. Outstanding lineup of notable musicians include: Cannonball’s brother Nat Adderley on cornet, Bobby Timmons on piano, Sam Jones on bass and Louis Hayes on drums. Standout tracks include; Timmons’sThis Here“, Cannonball’sYou Got It” and Weston’sHi-Fly“.  Highly Recommended!!!!


2. Miles DavisBasic Miles (The Classic Performances Of Miles Davis: Recorded 1955 – 1962, is a out of print Miles Davis compilation album. Released on Columbia in 1973, Basic Miles peaked at number 189 on Billboard Top 200 and number 21 on Billboard Top Jazz Album. Notable players; Jackie McLean, Bud Powell, Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, Lee Konitz, Red Garland, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Philly Joe Jones, Jimmy Cobb and Wayne Shorter. Recommended!!


3. Dean MartinCha Cha de Amor: Released, November 5, 1962 on Capital and was Martin’s last studio album for the label.  Cha Cha de Amor is a concept album of Afro-Cuban rhythms conducted and arrange by Nelson Riddle.
